The 9th ACM/IEEE International
Symposium on Modeling, Analysis and Simulation of Wireless and Mobile
Systems Symposium (MSWiM 2006) solicits demonstrations on recent results
or on-going development in the area of wireless and mobile networks.
We invite submissions for demos to be included in the MSWIM 2006 Demonstration
Program. This program is intended to showcase innovative technologies,
platforms, analysis tools and realistic applications related to mobile
and wireless networks and systems.
Submissions regarding mature
systems or innovative prototypes developed for commercial use or for
research purposes, from industries or universities, are encouraged.
We also encourage submission of a demo that has already been described
in the published literature in sufficient details.
Proposals should clearly
state what the proposed demonstration will show. Submissions will be
evaluated on the basis of their innovation, scientific contribution,
presentation, industrial and application relevance.
Accepted Demos will be able
to demonstrate and display a poster related to their demo/tool that
will be visible to the participants of MSWIM 2006. During demos/tools
sessions at specific times an author of a
demo submission must be present to the demonstration and answer questions
about their demos.
Papers corresponding to the
demos/tools will be published in full text (10 pages max) in a separate
Proceedings Volume that will be distributed during the Symposium.
Tools and
Demos Submission Instructions
Demos/Tools proposals must
be submitted as a single pdf file of no more than 4 pages in two-column
ACM format, providing informal description of the proposed demonstration.
Please describe what attendees will be able to see or do during your
demo (e.g. screenshots), and itemize any equipment or facilities that
you will require for your system demonstration.
