Software
- Peersim
Peersim is a simulator for large-scale overlay systems. It it written in Java
and offers a very flexible configuration mechanism, as well as a set of
predefined modules for simulating different kind of topologies, dynamic
environments, observers, etc.

- OverStat
OverStat is an aggregation protocol module for Peersim. Aggregation protocols provide
statistical information about a distributed systems, such as networks size, average load,
etc. Look at the aggregation page
for further
information.

- SG-1 (Superpeer Topology Management)
SG-1 is an topology management protocol module for Peersim. Its aim is to build and maintain
superpeer-based topologies. For further information, look at the topology management
page.

- Peer Sampling Service
This module, based on Peersim, provides a protocol for ``sampling'' a distributed network.

- Min-Power Connectivity
This module, based on QualNet, simulates a topology management service for solving the Min-Power
Connectivity problem in ad-hoc networks.

- Monitoring Service
Path monitoring is the performance monitoring of established virtual paths. The performance parameters
include available bandwidth, remaining bandwidth, end-to-end delay, and loss ratio. This package is
written in SIMULA. Look at the monitoring page
for further
information.

- Immune Search
(Peersim-based version)
This packages present a search algorithm that has been inspired by the immune system.
