Getting to Bertinoro by motorway.

Bertinoro is half way between Forlì and Cesena, 6 Kilometres from State Road No.9 (Via Emilia) immediately east of Forlimpopoli. Coming from Bologna or Rimini, leave the A 14 motorway at Cesena - nord exit and then take the E 45 towards Rome until you reach the exit of Cesena Ovest. Turn right on to the Via Emilia, towards Forlì - Bologna. The road to Bertinoro is after the village of Capocolle, at the traffic light, on the left. It is 12 kilometres from the exit of Cesena - nord. The link Autostrade for routes and tolls!

Spending a night in Bologna

If you are lucky, you can find a room in the very nice, wonderfully located and inexpensive University Guest House. We highly recommend it. The only problem is finding a room. Email bookings are possible through the above site. Otherwise you have to resort to a hotel. You may book on-line in one of the hotels in the city center.
