ACM Q2SWinet 2007 is the
3-rd Annual International Workshop on QoS and Security for Wireless
and Mobile Networks. Q2SWinet will be a one-day workshop, held in conjunction
with the 10-th Annual ACM/IEEE Symposium on Modeling, Analysis and Simulation
of Wireless and Mobile Systems (MSWiM). The workshop will bring together
networking researchers, engineers, and practitioners with participants
from industry, academia, and government. Q2SWinet 2007 will be held
October 22 to 26, 2007, in the beautiful and sunny Chania, Crete Island,
Greece.
In recent years, wireless
and mobile communication systems have become increasingly popular as
an inexpensive and promising means for ubiquitous communications. For
these reasons, QoS and Security management of wireless and mobile communication
systems are becoming a very crucial phase for future generation of wireless
and mobile networks.
This workshop focus upon
the study of all aspects of QoS and Security, for wireless and mobile
networks.
Authors are encouraged to
submit full papers presenting new research related to the theory or
practice of all aspects of Quality of Service and Security issues in
mobile and wireless systems. Submitted papers must not have been published
elsewhere nor currently be under review by another conference or journal.
WCMC Journal
Special Issue
A Special Issue of Wiley's
Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing (WCMC) Journal will contain
a revised and extended version of selected best papers from Q2SWinet

Paper Submission
and Publication
High-quality original papers
are solicited. Papers must be unpublished and must not be submitted
for publication elsewhere. All papers will be reviewed by Technical
Program Committee members and other experts active in the field to ensure
high quality and relevance to the workshop. Short papers might be included
in the technical program to complete it and foster discussion and idea
exchange.
More detailed instructions for paper submission will be provided soon.
Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings to be published
by ACM press (see previous editions
on the ACM digital library).
