Paper Submission Guidelines

High-quality original papers are solicited. Papers must be unpublished and must not be submitted for publication elsewhere. All papers will be reviewed by Technical Program Committee members and other experts active in the field to ensure high quality and relevance to the conference.

At least one author of accepted papers must attend the conference to present its contribution.
Paper length should be no more than 10 pages, double column, ACM style including tables and figures. Note that the regular paper size will be 8 pages, with the possibility to obtain up to 2 additional pages (total 10 pages) by paying a fee. A template for ACM SIG Proceedings style (LaTeX2e and MS Word) can be found here. Only Postscript and PDF formats are accepted. Short papers might be included in the technical program to complete it and foster discussion and idea exchange.
Papers must be submitted electronically through the EDAS system. The complete list of authors' names must be inserted when registering the paper on the EDAS system. Authors names can be inserted in the paper: that is, there is no double blind review process. In order to access the EDAS system you need to register first. Authors should check if they already have a login on the EDAS system; otherwise, they must create it before submitting the paper. If you are not already registered to EDAS please follow the instructions on the EDAS registration page, where you can login, or you can create a new EDAS user account.

Each submission must be accompanied by the following information:

  • a paper title
  • a short abstract
  • a complete list of authors and their affiliations
  • a contact person for correspondence (please check the correct e-mail is configured on the EDAS system)
  • a set of 1 up to 4 topics selected from the conference topics' list

The information above must be provided as paper pre-registration within the
Pre-registration deadline: June 5th, 2007 (extended due to a server problem occurred in the weekend).

Only registered papers can be submitted within the
Extended paper submission (upload) deadline: June 7th, 2007.
