The undergraduate programs hosted from the Department of Computer Science

The undergraduta program in Computer Science of the faculty of mathematical, physical and natural sciences of the University of Bologna was founded in 1988 with the name Laurea in Scienze dell' Informazione.
The undergraduta program in Computer Science is currently directed by prof. Maurizio Gabbrielli.
Starting from the Academic Year 2001-2002 the program consists of a three-year ''Laurea'' in the class L26 (Computer Science and Technology).

The three-year program is optionally followed by a two-years program, the ''laurea specialistica'' in computer science (class LS 23, ''lauree specialistiche'' in computer science).

The program in Internet Science has the same legal value of the degree in computer science in the class L26 (Computer Science and Technology), but it is focused on technological and applicative aspects related to the Internet.
Starting from September 2004 also a ''laurea specialistica'' in Internet Science is activated.
The undergraduta program in Internet Science is currently directed by prof. Edoardo Mollona.
