STMicroelectronics (Lecce Lab) is offering funded stages (tirocini) on four different research themes: 1) Performance evaluation of management algorithms for PLC networks based on PRIME technology, 2) Design and analysis of routing protocols for BTLE mesh networks, 3) design of new functions, validation and testing of BTLE protocol stacks, 4) Drivers and applications development for sensors and ST shield communication over Arduino devices. Preferred requirements for candidates (some of the following): programming skills (e.g. C, C++, Perl, Python), modeling and simulation skills, wireless systems and wireless networks, embedded systems, mobile applications.
